If you’ve been following my sun drenched, cotton candy munching adventures on social (insta-stories = latest shenanigans) then you know I’m just back in Boston after the shortest but sweetest trip to Palm Beach. A must-visit of mine for years now I’m ridiculously happy to say the land of palm trees and pastels not only lived up to but exceeded even my greatest expectations – seriously, and that’s after just 48 hours in the area!
While I’m dying to tell you all about my trip (the food, the shopping, the colorful walls) I thought I’d start with what I wore or more specifically, what I wore on repeat. My guess is ECCO doesn’t necessarily spring to mind when you think of cool, contemporary shoes and bags but the brand has really stepped up it’s game. Luckily for me (a gal who loves all things classic-with-a-twist) they haven’t strayed too far from their roots but it’s obvious they’re now incorporating lots more on-trend elements into their collections.
Case in point for ECCO? These quilted sneaks which I found on Zappos (they always have an incredible selection to choose from and you can’t beat their customer service which actually includes free deliveries and returns – something I always look for when shopping online, especially if I’m eying shoes) and now want in every color of the rainbow. Not only are they super cute and versatile (I wore them with just about everything including this chambray dress) but they’re super comfortable too. In other words, they were perfect for my trip to Palm Beach which involved a ton of walking – areas like Worth Avenue were so charming that I could have happily pounded their pavements for days!
A last minute addition to my Zappos cart, I should probably mention my new ECCO clutch too. Honestly, I didn’t exactly need this little guy but I’m such a sucker for fresh whites come spring/summer that I kind of had to have him. Of course, when you consider the fact that it’s actually convertible (wallet, clutch, crossbody – you choose how you wear it) it’s like I got three bags for the price of one and if you save money then you technically earn money . . . right?
